DRB Feel-Good Issue #6

"FEEL-GOOD SHOT" #6
Link - by Avi Abrams

Some joyful stuff to brighten up your day
Mixed images flow: cars, girls, etc.

Welcome to the new issue of Dark Roasted Blend's "Feel-Good" series: mostly bright and sweet collection of images designed to propel you along your day with a smile on your face and a spring in your gait.

This is a kind of Tumbler-substitute for the caffeinated, busy crowd with deeply-felt and sophisticated sensibilities, somewhat nostalgic about more glamorous times (you know who you are), or just looking for that extra bit of sunshine.

Left image below: "Castle Fantastic" by John Howe - see it here - which is NOT a concept art for the Silmarillion by J. R. R. Tolkien but very well could've been...

Do you have a wish? This magician Old Man Khottab (Starik Khottabych in Russian) will fullfil them and even take you on a magic carpet ride... over the streets of 1950s Moscow, like in this screenshot from a 1958 Russian movie:

By the way, in this shot you see three of the Stalin Socialist Skyscrapers, including the just-built Moscow University on the horizon. Here is a rare view from the top during its construction in 1952:

Gianni Marchetti - Viaggio in Italia - Top Crack
Tinkerbells Fairydust - Lazy Day
ELO - Stepping Out - Out Of The Blue
Ennio Morricone - I Poveri visti dai ricchi - Il Ladroni
Francesco De Masi - Zorro Rider of Vengeance

Until next time! Keep the sunshine, folks.
