(images via)

"You either love it, or hate it" (Marmite):

Stay Young! t-shirts by Evian (do they make diapers, too?):

Wide-angle lenses... get it?

"What Goes Around, Comes Around" (Global Coalition for Peace):

Another smart ad that tells a story: CNN Cameramen -

On the other hand, there are ads which are simply revolting, if not unnecessary: here is "Time to Cut the Cord" (and have your own vegetables?) -

(image via)

Some outdoor ads are downright scary:

Another stressful day for a dog:

(image via)

And finally, the image that's really impossible to ignore - "See the Unseen" (Spuk Pictures):

I do not "get" the Abbey Road one... unless it's just meant to show that some tech was used to change the POV of the album cover to make it look like a shot from above.

abbey road: they have pics you haven't seen but of subject matter that everyone has seen a million times - that's what makes it good: new angle on something.

Very clever images that make you stop and really think. The McDonald's coffee lamp that looks like the coffee is pouring into the cup is awesome! These marketing tactics engage the consumer which is crucial to obtaining a purchase. With an ever-growing list of options, ads that are unique and attention-grabbing are sure to win the buyer vote in the end.
