That's the price for using liquid hydrogen as rocket fuel.<BR/><BR/>Pound for pound, hydrogen is the most energetic fuel around. But it's bulky. One kilogram of water occupies one liter of volume. Liquid oxygen is a little heavier; each kilogram takes 0.89 liters. The crawler moves the platform into place, puts it down on fixed support legs and then moves to a parking position. Each has a black rectangle, marked "Cargo package for ISS" and "New module for ISS" respectively.
