It takes Sergei Bobkov (a talented sculptor from Krasnoyarsk, Siberia) almost 5 months to complete one piece. They are made from carefully selected and individually placed feathers, wood chips and fluff texture - which looks almost like fur and brings his sculptures "to life":

Tungsten rings are going to last very, VERY long time.
Plus these rings have this additional "cool factor" (as the alternative for usual gold rings). Tungsten Rings site features many styles, plus wedding rings made from titanium, cobalt, palladium and even ultra-strong ceramic.
All tungsten rings are made of a nearly indestructible alloy, and are guaranteed to continue looking shiny and new for as long as you own them. Tungsten carbide rings are approximately 12 times harder than gold, and 4 times harder than platinum.

A word of warning: one day you'll start horribly regretting that choice of tungsten ring instead of a gold one - the day you'll realize there's no way on earth you can get the ring off your finger anymore other than cutting it open... ;)
The giant stone head with the shephard is from Il sacro Bosco di Bomarzo north of Rome, Italy. You could make a whole post just with pictures from here.
Urban legend. Tungsten rings are actually quite easy to remove in an emergency. Although strong, they are also brittle so they can be easily cracked with vice grips. No amputation needed.
