2008 New York "Dances of Vice" Festival

2008 New York Dances of Vice Festival will be taking place on February 8th and 9th. The festival is featuring the cello rock ensemble Rasputina as the headlining act in the exciting context of a gothic/Neo-Victorian costumed ball. The event will attract enthusiasts of the vintage lifestyle, steampunk, gothic, glamour and neo-Victorian communities.

Additional festival highlights include live victorian fencing demonstrations, puppet operettas, an art gallery, musical saws, and much more.
Dances of Vice is otherwise a monthly 1920-30s dance and cabaret night in New York City.

Some of the Victorian/Steampunk costumes can be viewed at Cosplay (some nsfw):

The pictures of the people bathing at the edge of a waterfall were taken at Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. It is quite safe to chill out in the shallow rock pools right by the edge. Quite a breath taking experience indeed. Great collection of pictures. Thanks.
