Spectacular Weather

Mike Hollingshead from Extreme Instability is a storm-chaser. Naturally he stumbles across the craziest sights. His Flickr photostream is nothing short of astonishing. Here's just a couple pics: (aftermath of an August storm)

The picture is currently making rounds around the web, subtitled "tornado, lightning, rainbow - all in one picture". Yes, rainbow and lightning are there, for sure, but not tornado. What we see is rather a "rain shaft", or "cloudburst".
