"QUANTUM SHOT" #209Furniture does not have to be boring "Voluptuous, alluring shapes", "burst of creativity", "slightly dangerous stance" - are we talking about furniture here? The wooden boxes that support our bums? That, and much more. Witness some attractive examples, courtesy of this Japanese site: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() for more of "car parts" furniture, click here Watch that lamp! It's getting away! ![]() Even a used musical instrument can become a solid decoration feature: ![]() (image credit: Exler) ![]() ------------------- It all starts with a door handle: ![]() and the entry wool rug: ![]() (image credit: happy ant) Krazy Kitchens Well, maybe in the 20s they had kitchens like these: ![]() (image credit: vintagephoto) Compare it with the modern Italian design - "Zaha Hadid's Futuristic Z. Island Kitchen" from the Milan Furniture Fair: ![]() ![]() (image credit: Gizmag) or this spiced-up kitchen / cooking island: (read more here) ![]() (image credit: BornRich) The compact CIRCULAR kitchen contains everything you need, and then conveniently "rolls up" into a tube: ![]() (image credit: ImpactLab) Times change, including the kitchen sink: ![]() ![]() More after the jump... ![]()
Your "inner biker" would thank you: ![]() For the latest in hi-tech shower designs see this page. For example, Trendir's color-therapy shower: ![]() ![]() Sure, it looks very soothing and neat, but I don't mind a normal functional shower room, as long as it not like this one: ![]() (image credit: Worth1000) Continuing our tour... (thanks, DesignPublic) ![]() ![]() Another shelving idea: ![]() ![]() (image credit: Kibardin Design) Passing your office, where you're daily killing yourself at work. Here is furniture that's ready for your... demise: This shelving unit is easily convertible into a coffin. The sweet dream of every hot-blooded Oprah fan out there (including the guys from "Ocean's 13"). Here is how this couch / TV combo works: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() and if the bed feels too lonely, here is the ultimate pillow: (sweet dreams included) ![]() (image credit: club.sohu) CONTINUE TO PART TWO! -> Permanent Link... ![]() Category: Architecture,Weird Related Posts: Kitchen Tech for Geeks, Car & Plane Parts Furniture Dark Roasted Blend's Photography Gear Picks: |

Tetris furniture is great... will include in next post.
not sure where to get the lamp...
