That's quite a traffic jam... I've been tempted to take out a book in heavy traffic but not get out of my car for a snooze.
More Iranian photos please!
The land is beautiful.. the laws against women are not
It's still a terrorist state. And quite honestly i've seen better scenery here at my home state.
Makes me wonder what the Cold War would've been like if we had internet access back then like we do now.
"Terrorist state"? That phrase has no meaning. Iran is a democracy.
if iran is a democracy, and the popularly elected leader of the country is a representation of the will of the people, then surely the people of Iran are insane. Ahmaninejad is a hitlerite kill-the-jews, kill-the-americans, kill-anyone-who-challenges-islam type; his support of numerous terrorist groups places him below sanity.
Beautiful place. Shame if the world is too damn stoop-head to figure out a better solution...
Stop believing all the propaganda about Iran. It is a developing democracy just as all the modern democracies today once were. Also it has a diverse population including a large jewish population who've lived there since the old testament (remember Daniel in the lions' den?). Does supporting organisations fighting illegal occupation make Iran a terrorist state? You should visit the place as they're famous for their hospitality.
Kinser - What state do you live in? And if you don't think that Iran is so beautiful in these pictures, then perhaps you should take a look at this:
http://www.worldisround.com/articles/73022/index.html
http://www.worldisround.com/articles/98910/index.html
And Kinser, I don't think Iran is any more terrorist than the U.S. is! I'll tell you why: First of all can you mention any terrorist activity where the terrorist or terrorists have been Iranian?
Iran supports Hamas and Hezbollah, but these organizations are no more terrorist than was the Contra which the U.S. supported. The CIA has also supported the murderous fascist "grey wolves" of Turkey, and several congressmen and the current U.S. establishment and Pentagon have supported /are supporting an anti-Iranian terrorist group by the name of MKO or MEK (Mujahedin Khalq Organization) which also happens to be listed on the U.S. list of terrorist groups! So I really can not see how you can think that Iran is any more a "terrorist state" than the U.S. is.
And finally here is another great album: http://www.worldisround.com/articles/343042/index.html
Hi
Thanks for the beautiful pictures . But unfortunately the 17th pictures does not belong to Iran . Please kindly remove it from the list . It mostly similar to the buildings you may see in an Arabic capital.
Regards
Behnam
Thank you Behnam - I removed that pic
Kinser cracks me up. "And quite honestly i've seen better scenery here at my home state."
only an american would bother to post something so rude. plus it is like saying there is only one pretty girl, or only one good wine, or only one good swimming hole. "Quite honestly, " are there degrees of honesty? "we have better swimming holes in my home state.' home? state?
as for the terrorism charge, it is debateable and depends on your perspective. some would say bombing with depleted uranium is the height of terrorism. it is pretty clear that the people dodging the american bombs were terrified.
as with most things, i suggest you follow the money. some people are making billions from our war culture. all wars end up with arms sellers behind them. the people would like q chance to get along
